Is this like a salad? Or something served over rice? I haven't heard of this one before, but I can see the flavors working well together.C0ldf1re wrote:Carrot and Cucumber Curry, anyone? I've just made some.

Peanut butter and honey sounds good. Being a Yank I have never eaten vegemite and had it not been for the song I wouldn't even know it existed. Love to try some some day just for the experience. I haven't a clue what it would taste like though.Redlegs wrote:I used to like peanut butter and honey or cucumber and vegemite sandwiches to take to school. Vegemite also goes really well with celery - just daub it real thick down the centre of a celery stick and crunch away!

The taste of Vegemite is very hard to describe to someone. It is a yeast extract, which sounds appalling I know, it is thick and black like a jellified tar, it is savoury and salty, and yet it is bloody delicious, especially on toast. Aussie kids are brought up on the stuff, but I can appreciate it might be hard to come to it as an adult.DATo wrote:Peanut butter and honey sounds good. It is one cup of ramen noodles, cooked.
half can of tuna, drained
and a bag of barbecue chips crunched up
mix it all together and cut up the noodles and there you go!
