I love to have a cup of tea or coffee with a couple of biscuits. Books sounds great with them.

During winter time, I like to drink hot chocolate. When it's too hot outside for hot chocolate, I'll usually drink water (or the occasional Baja Blast Mt. Dew).

When reading, I go from fruit-infused water, coffee, tea or wine. It depends on the book, the setting of the story and my mood. It's mostly tea when I'm home or coffee when I visit my local coffee shop for a comfortable spot to read.

I love Earl Grey with milk but I've never tried it with Vanilla. Thank you for the idea. :)

I know right! I love green tea, earl grey or black tea during the day and chamomile/linden or lemongrass tea when I'm reading during night time. There's something about hot beverages, in general, that perfectly match reading.

csimmons032 wrote: 06 Mar 2015, 23:01 It depends on the type of season it is. If it's winter then I usually enjoy a cup of coffee or hot chocolate with whipped cream on it while curling up with a good book. I have gotten pretty good at making chai tea lattes as well, and those are pretty good to have while reading too. If it is summer, then I usually enjoy a soda or iced tea with reading. Either way, I always have to have some sort of beverage while I am reading.
Right! To me, it also depends on the book's setting. Enhancing the mood of the book as well.

My favorite thing to be sipping on while I read is either coffee or tea. What one I am drinking depends on the time of day I am reading and what the weather looks like. If it’s early morning then I will usually have a hot drip coffee, hold the sugar and the creamer. If it’s mid day and hot outside then of course I’ll need either a giant cup of southern sweet tea or an iced cold sugary coffee! And if it’s a late night then a nice hot chamomile tea will do!
