Icon Home-baked cake or Market bought cake

Post by T T 2 »

Which one do you guys prefer? I personally love home-baked cakes. They are so delicious. I even ask my mom to bake it for me on my birthday or any special occasion or just any day  . As for market-bought cakes, especially the cream ones, I am not really a fan of it. I don't know, maybe it's just me but I feel they do not taste as good as home-baked ones. Not that I hate it, but there is this specific taste to home-baked cakes which these market cakes lack. What are your thoughts on it? :eusa-think:

Homemade cake definitely. I love making the stuff I eat that way I know what goes into it. Besides it's more delicious and I can add my own personal flavors.

I guess it depends on who's making it. I'm more of a cooker than a baker so nobody wants to eat a cake that I made. Some of the store-bought cakes are really good. I've even had a gluten-free cake from the grocery store that was delicious.

Each one has a distinct flavor and both are delicious, but I think home-baked cakes is better

Home baked cakes. Sometimes market bought cakes are not rich with the right amount of ingredients.

You can't buy them! That mere fact alone is what makes them priceless not only figuratively but literally!

For some reason, I just can’t bake cake! I’ve tried so many times! I can bake amazing cupcakes, but not a whole cake... so for that reason, I always rather choose store bought 😂

Of course, the cake that was cooked at home. For me, home-baked cakes are far more pleasant than those purchased elsewhere; even if they are not cooked perfectly, if you give it your all in producing that delicacy, the taste is priceless. It's more expensive, I believe, because you'll need to buy a lot of ingredients, but you can always make it again the next time.

haha, that's understandable then lol. Its just the cooking time that matters. May be you can try baking small cakes first. Might as well work for you.

I prefer home-baked cakes. They're denser, healthier, and more flavorful than market
-bought cakes. They also don't have a lot of chemical or artificial preservatives in them.
