I think there's just something about eating while reading. It has a way of making you comfortable and focused. I don't know how that happens but it does happen for me. I'll eat anything, from food to snacks. It just makes the reading all the more entertaining

I don't normally eat while reading but if the book is good I might take it to the table and read while eating

Haha this is really so typically me, eating while reading. When I read a book especially when it is so riveting I tend to sit there for hours hooked with the story. Until my stomach growls. And getting up to eat is such a chore. That's why I always have food near me when I read, munching away until I'm finished reading the whole story.

I used to do this a lot, but these days I avoid snacking while reading. I end up eating a lot more than I intended to and don't notice it enough to enjoy it.
It is what you read when you don’t have to that determines what you will be when you can’t help it.

I really try not to. I am such a messy eater, and I don't want to ruin my books/computer. That being said, you may find egg, sloppy joe and cookie crumbs if you look hard enough.

No. The sound of chewing my food is distruction. The effort of chewing my food diverting my attention to it especially when the snack is so good. I can't concentrate to what I'm reading.

Usually I don't eat while reading, but if there's tea or any other drink, I normally can't resist.

I find eating and reading too distracting, especially if I'm really into my current book. I also don't like to eat with my glasses on and I need them to read, so there lies the problem

Yes I do something like an easy snack so when I really get into a book I know I am not touching something I shouldn't be so I don't have to pay attention to what I am grabbing

No, I get distracted by the food. Reading with a tropical drink in a hammock at the beach--that's the best.

Not really. This may sound disgusting but I am messy eater and I don't want to ruin my book. That is why most of the time I just prepare something to drink and if I need to eat, I just take a break.
