I cannot eat while reading a novel or poetry because I find eating can be too distracting. I can eat if I am reading a short article in a newspaper or magazine since this does not require a long attention span.

I like drinking something hot, like espresso, a giant mug of tea, or hot chocolate.

Tea is a definite for me, although I drink tea pretty much constantly. However, if I try to eat while reading I find myself eating WAY more than I should - like how when you eat popcorn while watching a movie, you will generally finish however much popcorn is in front of you, no matter how much it is.

Snacking while reading is a no no for me. The jaw movements and crunching sounds really distract me and i loose focus on what i’m studying. I can only snack when watching movies ☺️☺️

I actually do enjoy snacking on something or drinking tea or hot chocolate while I read. It adds an extra level of comfort to reading.

I do enjoy a glass of juice or water while reading. I wouldn't have a full meal with a book in hand. Eating peanuts maybe.

I definitely like to eat while reading. It combines two of my favourite things. I do worry though, that I'll get the book dirty. So I usually prefer to have something to drink instead of eating.

I really like to eat finger foods when I'm reading. It's really hard to read books that don't sit open without holding them and trying to eat full meals that need slightly more attention.
