Hahahaa, so am not alone. My tea normally gets cold because I concentrated on an interesting part in the book.

No, I am not a multitasker, I don't do well when I do two things at the same time. Before I read a book, I make myself a cup of coffee or tea, after drinking it, that is when I will pick up a book and read. As for eating, I will find myself repeating one sentence multiple times because I would have been not focusing on text but rather on taste of the food and chewing. So to me it's a no no to read whole eating or drinking.

Water. Definitely water, and definitely placed in such a way that it can't possibly spill onto the book. Any food I happen to eat will be something that won't leave any residue on my fingers, usually something bite-sized so there aren't any crumbs.

Books on the computer are a little more forgiving, though. I'll sometimes eat pistachios or chips while reading something online, and I'll expand my beverage choices to include soda or lemonade.

It's usually more interesting reading with a snack or drinks close by, maybe a meal too. I'd be bored without either of these.

Cookies and biscuits and some traditional snacks of my country. It just gives another vibe while reading.

Yes, sometimes if I am really hungry but still want to read. But if I can avoid it, I don't eat while reading.

Not always. Only when I am hungry. I like to read a book without any disturbance.

I love to eat while I read especially when I am doing my online reading. A nice tea is always a great option but I always keep a nice snack nearby!

I almost always have tea while I read. I don’t always snack , but sometimes I am tempted by all the junk food I have in the house for my two boys
