While I'm reading either a hard back book or on my kindle, I don't like to eat. I get involved in the book and don't want to stop for anything. If I have to stop for a break, I will put down the book and then maybe get a quick snack so I can get back to the book.

Nope, I really just have something to drink. I don't want it to become this mindless thing where just because I'm reading I need to eat or snack. Just like watching tv, I don't need to eat. I'm focused on reading. If I become hungry, I'll eat only.

I love munching on snacks while reading a novel or a short story. It's a childhood habit.

It seems my book reading ritual is not complete without a hot or cold drink by my side. If I have a crunchy snack, all the better.

I don't eat while reading very often, but I do like to drink tea or a glass of wine sometimes.

I like eating while reading because when I'm reading an interesting book, I can easily go hungry.

usually salty snacks for me! I really enjoy settling in with a book and finishing it in one go if time allows, so some chips or crackers etc make it a bit of a treat.

Yes I love to eat while reading! In fact I usually prepare food and drinks beside me so that I don't need to change positions while reading 😉

I find it easier to drink than to eat while reading.

Let's just say mine depends on the book at hand. If I'm enjoying it, then no. But if I'm not, heavens know how constantly I'll get up for a grab, not just one, but countless.

I'm also one to snack and have a beverage while I read. Although sometimes I don't prepare ahead and if I'm really into the book when the hunger strikes, it can be difficult for me to find an acceptable stopping point, so I'll just keep reading... and getting hungrier.

I love snacks, potato chips, Indian snacks like chevda .I always pick loud snacks ,I don't know why .which has a tendency to distract me when reading .

I think food would distract me and so I have never tried eating while reading. I prefer to read while drinking but then again the book will distract me from drinking. So I just prefer to focus on reading for few hours then take a break to eat or drink and continue reading later.
