Affordable cook book

I love cookbooks but the celebrity chef cook books are expensive and not suitable for day to day cooking. Any good cook books at affordable price?

You could go to Your Local fete. Or browse online. Also there are some good cooking apps. Some chefs post recipes on Facebook. Happy cooking

I find the women's weekly cook books are reasonable priced around $10 and the recipes use ingredients that most people have in their cupboard. I have several of these and they don't disappoint

I like the Fix It and Forget It line of cookbooks. They are meant for your crockpot/slow cooker. Many to choose from and very affordable. You can find used on eBay and Amazon.

I've heard good things about the Fix it and Forget it books.

I don't know many (any) new cookbooks. I bet something by Jacques Pepin would be good. He reviewed lots of techniques on his cooking shows.

I always check out the 2nd hand book stores for my cookbooks. I just got two dessert books for $2 each, original price $12 each. Plus since they usually have a few copies, you can pick out the one in the best condition for the same price usually.

I don't have a specific suggestion, but I often find some great stuff in charity shops! If you're apprehensive about buying a cookbook from there for whatever reason... I would look out for magazines! A lot have some excellent suggestions in there for super cheap.

I've had great luck finding cookbooks at my local library's book sales. Never pay more than $1.00. Last time I got a cookbook specializing in soups. Lots of great recipes and a whole section on the best way to make different kinds of soup.

I think youtube is the best place to get the recipes from. MK for baking, there also one guy I love but sadly can't find his account.
