I've never had mango outside of eating the fruit, or putting it into a salsa. I'm going to have to look into these dishes.

:D Preserved red mango or a sweet curry mango. I also love to eat the mango fruit in several varieties. Especially what is known as the Starch mango, Long mango, Julie Mango and Sugar Mango to name a few.

I love just the mango fruit itself! So sweet and delicious. I remember cutting mango into halves, minus the seed in the middle, and scooping out the fruit from the inside of skin before eating around the seed.

I love mango acharu. This is something we enjoy in Sri Lanka and involves unripe mangoes cubed and mixed with spices like salt and chili. It’s delicious and acts as the perfect way to satisfy cravings sometimes.

Growing up we had a mango tree behind the house which produced juicy fruits when in season. To cut the long story short, I was banned from going there after a while because I never knew when to stop eating lol.
