When we can, we recycle glass containers and use those, but for our daughter who needs a container for her snacks, we simply cannot give her a class container. Plastic containers offer plenty of benefits in terms of practicality, but you have to select the ones made properly without BPA's.

I use quality-grade Tupperware and plastic containers but also glass containers. I also reuse plastic containers from the food I buy.

Yes But as more and more bad information is emerging about plastics I'm trying my best to move away from it. I don't buy plastic containers anymore and hold onto glass ones when I get them. Eventually, I'll have all the plastic replaced I hope!

Growing up, it was a crime to discard plastoc plates. My mother would kill you. I picked up the habit and I do it now.

That has been my fear for a while, unfortunately I still only use plastic containers. I heard that its much safer to wait until the food cools down completely before putting them in plastic. It's the heat that increases the danger. So that's what I do.
