Strict Recipe Follower, or Experimenter?

I love to cook and definitely do both. If I'm making something for the first time I tend to stick to the recipe. When I feel comfortable with the recipe then I start experimenting and make it my own. I also like to make up my own recipes sometimes.

Hybrid! Sometimes I would like to stick with the recipe, especially when I am cooking for my guests. I experiment when I'm cooking for myself, because even if it doesn't turn out well, it doesn't matter much, as long as it is nutritious, I'm going to eat it anyway and there won't be a wastage of food.
