Black walnut? That sounds fancy. Is it okay if you can describe the taste of it? I don't think I have ever tried walnut ice cream flavour.

Black walnuts are grown mainly in the Midwest and the South in the U.S. They have a rather strong taste, a bit more pungent than English walnuts, and it seems either you love them or you hate them. The ice cream itself is a maple flavor, but not too sweet, and the nuts are added throughout. Its sweeter, more popular nut-type ice cream cousin is butter pecan.gusulansect wrote: ↑24 May 2022, 14:48Black walnut? That sounds fancy. Is it okay if you can describe the taste of it? Oh, that sounds delicious! I dislike too much sweet. I should check if there are some imported black walnut goods hehe. Thanks!MsH2k wrote: ↑24 May 2022, 15:08Black walnuts are grown mainly in the Midwest and the South in the U.S. They have a rather strong taste, a bit more pungent than English walnuts, and it seems either you love them or you hate them. You're welcome. Let me know if you get the chance to try it. I like popsicles (our version of ice candy) too, especially in the middle of summer. They are the perfect treat in hot weather.gusulansect wrote: ↑10 Jun 2022, 07:55Oh, that sounds delicious! I dislike too much sweet. I should check if there are some imported black walnut goods hehe.
