Science Fiction/Fantasy are tied for first. Then it's historical fiction and mystery/comedy/horror (occasionally). When I was a kid I liked to read horror a lot more than I do now.

My three favorite genres are Fantasy, Science fiction, and Horror. Admittedly, in the books that I have read and enjoyed, mystery/thriller/suspense goes hand in hand with the horror.

My favorite genres are fantasy, especially high fantasy, romance and historical fiction, but I read any book that has an interesting premise.

Historical fiction, suspense and humour. I got to laugh at some point in a book. Or be held by the twists such that it doesn't matter whether I laugh or not.

I am moving further away from romance , because it is not realistic In real life. Most people I meet are not the same as the novel characters. I read romantic books for the fun of it nothing more.
If you are having a bad day, let people see that you are having a good day...Spread good vibes, people are going through a lot already. :tiphat:

I like reading books in humor, dark romance( the darker the better) with anti heroes and mystery thriller and suspense. I enjoy science fiction as well.

I love a good suspense/thriller/mystery, followed by what I call beach reads - Humour and romance. Although I'm expanding now into horror. I used to love fantasy/paranormal but its come to the point where everything is just vampires and the like which I can't stand anymore.

My favorites are general non-fiction, autobiography, and romance. I've seen the statistics and very few votes for these genres.😊
