That's what this question makes me think of.
All emotions are illegal and people are givin medication to surpress them.
Art, music, everything worthwhile, is distroyed.

It's a very interesting movie.
Very good movie! I loved the fight scenes quite a bit and the little boy just nailed his performance! :D

I'd do what they used do in the old days: tell oral tales that I made up.

What in the world would we talk about on this forum if we didn't have books? What if books were never made in the first place? Would we even have language at all? Wait, that was a weird conclusion... 8)

When I was younger I used to enjoy telling stories with my best friend- i.e. one of us would begin a story, and then after a little while the other would pick up. I think if I was unable to read, I would do something like that, perhaps using some of my favorite characters.

I would either start writing my own books in secret or burn those people who burned the books.
So many books to read, so little time..

That would be really upsetting

I suppose I would do more crafting, which is my other passion :)

I agree. I would definitely write my own books or short stories and simply read those. Also, I would also encourage others to write their own stories so we could read each other's stories. That would be great fun, now that I think about it; we would create our own library in no time!

I'd really hate if that happened! I would probably try to steal paper, pens, and laptops. Then, I would hire some people with awesome ideas to come to an abandoned island so I can read.

I know for me it would be. Because books give me a reason to escape the real world. Without books it would become sort of boring. This is just a question don't go postal on me.
I'd imagine a little Fahrenheit 451 type deal might go down

Really though, as long as there is the Internet, I think we'll be safe. There will always be underground channels to get our fixes! :)

It would defiantly become boring. Books give us an escape from the world and also give us knowledge, so I can't imagine living in a world without books. I would probably create my own stories and tell people about them, but if that wasn't aloud I would have to find a new hobby, something similar. There are probably other alternatives, but I'm not that creative when it comes to thinking.

If there were no books in the world there would still be stories to be told. There would also be the piano and music. If I have something bothering me I can be found at the piano working through things for hours at a time.

If there were no longer any books in the world, I would write so that I could have something to read and urge others to write so as to have something to read. I can't imagine not reading at all!

If there were no more books left to read I would either go insane or, just re-read every book I have over and over again until I have them all memorised word for word.
