This would absolutely be the worst thing in the world. If I had to imagine this scenario I would turn to my other hobby of cross stitching. However, I think this would be an entirely different world we live in so maybe I wouldn't like that anymore.

If it was still possible to read on line I would be alright. If there was no literature available at all though it would be a terrible disaster!

I wouldn't know what to do with myself if there was nothing to read. I would definitely have to start writing a book a lot sooner then anticipated!

I would write my own :).Even as a child and didn't know how to read or write I would make up stories in my head. Humanity once passed all of their legends and stories down through verbal storytelling. We would probably return to that method.

If there were no more books to read I would go nuts. Books are a way of escaping the real world for me.

It's not something I even want to imagine. What can replace books?

I would write too. I'd be that or buying a one-way ticket to crazy-town I think.

I think I'd start writing my own. Just think of it - you could write anything and it wouldn't exist until you wrote it. That could be a huge opportunity. Things haven't been done before. (Of course, this idea only works if we assume the government has destroyed books in the past but has stopped doing so.)
If the government still continued to destroy books and literature, you could still write or at least make up stories for your children. Eventually, people will hunger to write down events and their own stories - I think it is part of human nature to document what is happening and what we are thinking and even government bans will never be able to completely erase literature.

They can burn every book but we can still have ebooks, right? :eusa-think:
Next to reading, I also like to write and practice drawing so I guess I'd still have something else to do.

As long as ebooks are still allowed I personally think it wont be that bad but i would still miss the smell of newly opened book.
