Zoning Out: Help please

Post by Czarina Grace »

Hey guys! I was wondering how many of you 'get into the zone' when you read?

In my many many years of reading I always find myself getting hooked up especially when the plot gets interesting; flipping page after page and looking up to find the clock telling me the day was OVER and totally forgetting to eat meals and sleep. But hey, who cares? At least the book 2 was released! :techie-studyinggray:

I always end up reading myself sick. Just can't seem to find a switch 'off' button!

Anybody has any tips on how to control the reading urge?

I had this happen to me when I was growing up. Now, I tell myself that at a certain time (i.e. 10 pm) or at the end of chapter ? I will put the book down to eat, sleep, or do whatever else needs to get done.
