Do you like to read in bed?

I love to read in bed. My favorite series is the Jack Reacher character from Lee Childs. I guess they call it "man fiction". I hate turning the light off when I am sleepy and done reading so I thought I would share with you a cool product I found called the Sunset Dimmer. You just plug your lamp in and it will gradually dim the bulb over 30 minutes. No need to turn the light off when you are done reading anymore and the gradual dimming is subtle and soothing.

I can't wait for the new Lee Child's book "The Affair" to come out. Anyone else out there a Jack Reacher fan??

Depends a lot on which book I am reading. I like to read ghost stories and horrors in bed, but cant read thrillers or adventure stories for some unknown reason, especially Clive Cussler books, I just fall asleep.
I may need therapy!

Seriously my OH works shift hours so if he's on nights I could end up reading right through the night if the book is good.
I woke up this morning at 5am with the light still on & the Kindle on the floor
... it's still showing signs of life thank God.
Actually I find the Kindle brilliant for reading in bed

Well i still have a bit of bother reading the very scary books alone at night and im surprised by this, but if an author is good enough to makke my skin prickle then thats a quality story..

I read in bed for a while until I start nodding off. The only other ones in bed with me are my two dogs and they dont care if I read or not.

Yes.
I like to wind the day down by reading briefly in bed. It is nice to have some quiet time after work is done, home tasks are done, the children are in bed, etc. It is finally MY time. Although I find that I fall asleep quickly, so it is only 15 - 30 minutes of bed-time reading.

I read in bed. Usually I only read one chapter before I can't keep my eyes open any longer - that is unless the book is so good that sleep becomes unimportant.

I read every night in bed, I like to make 2 chapters if it's really late.

Unfortunately I am not allowed to read in bed. Well I am but my gf kicks me and elbows me until I have to leave and continue the book in the lounge on the couch. If it is a very good book I often find myself waking up on the couch and usually my gf feels so bad she makes me breakfast, so its not all bad, apart from a sore back.
