How much time do you spend reading each day?

Post by HollandBlue »

The time I spend reading each day varies depending on what I'm doing and how interested I am in the book. I try to read for at least an hour a day and more whenever possible!

I always spend at least 15 minutes reading each night, but on the weekends it may be a few hours a day.

I don't necessarily keep track of how long I read but I'd say anywhere between 10 minutes to an hour or two. Sometimes I just have enough time to go through a couple of pages at a time.

I guess it depends on how much time you have available. I generally can get through a book a day, though rarely more than that. As for how long, that depends on the book.

I try to spend at least 30 minutes reading before bed to help clear my mind. On vacations and weekends, it is common for me to read for a few hours straight.

I cant sleep without reading. So I have to read to make myself sleep :) So its usually 15 minutes to 1 hour daily. It can be more as it depends on how interesting a book I find.

I think it would depend on how much time I have to spare. I usually read for a few minutes or a few hours.

It depends on my schedule. For now, I read pretty much, around 4 to 5 hrs a day.

I always aim to read for about 45 minutes every night, but if the book is boring or really tired I won't hit the whole time! If I have a very calm day, I'll read for hours :)

I spend a lot of time reading everyday. Maybe even six to eight hours sometimes. Got used to it.

How much time I spend when reading a book? Depends on how good the book is and the genre.

If its a Star Wars book even a brand new Star Wars book, I can breeze right through it in a day or couple of days half a week.

As in hours? I dont care as long im reading the book

I find this a difficult question, as I read so many different things. In terms of recreational reading, a normal novel, I try to read everyday for at least an hour. Try is a key word.

In terms of other reading, I read my scriptures a lot too. Sometimes I read other sources for said scriptures as well. I was a Sunday school teacher for a while, and so when I prepared a lesson, I was constantly reading texts that would help support my lesson. That took hours.

Overall, I try to read as much as I can. Unfortunately, my life is centered around a lot of internet. I feel so guilty if I don't read a physical book at least once a day.
