I can't read while sitting, I need to be laying down, on my side.

This summer, it has definitely been sitting in the bathtub, enjoying cool lavender-scented bubbles and a glass of iced tea. Divine!

I mostly read sitting up. I can't find a comfortable position to hold the book (granted, I read very large books) while lying down, and since I often read during meals, I can set the book on the table or propped against something else.

The most important things in this world happen while in the laying position. I read too much in the sitting position in my years of study; let's enjoy reading in the most comfortable position.

I think when your sitting down, your muscles relax more and allow you to get into the book more and be taken by the story in front of you. I find sitting up and reading uncomfortable at times and I can't get my head properly stuck into the book

I generally flip-flop while I read, curled up in awkward positions in my recliner :P

I change my position every five minutes. Sometimes, I'll be lying down, then sitting up completely, then slouching...it depends on my overall comfort. :D

It all depends. It depends on the time of day (due to sunlight or lack of sunlight), it depends on the place, and it depends on the book.
I prefer to read laying down because that's the most comfortable position for me but depending on book size it's hard to stay in a comfortable position.
If I'm in bed i only get lighting in certain places at night so I have to position the book so it's in the light and that makes it hard to stay in one comfortable position.
I do enjoy sitting down but I tend to lean forward and it's so bad for my posture so i like a chair that can lean back if the book isn't too big.
Like I said it all depends.

I usually read a book sitting down. If I get cramped up after some time then I stand up, stretch myself, then sit down again and resume reading. But I don't remember ever reading standing up.

My most comfortable reading position is definitely laying down, on my side or with my knees upright so I can use my lap to balance the book or laptop. Sitting up feels way too academic, uptight and rigid to me.

Reclined, seated up, on my tummy, stretched with my head propped up, changing positions every now and then -- all the time in bed, or near it, against it, beside it, with a mug of tea at an arm's length away. A soft leather couch to curl up in is the next favourite, but nothing beats the bed in having the room to stretch and roll about during a lengthy lazy read. Though I'd read anywhere. (:

I like to read sitting up, either in my study chair in the living room, or in my bed under the covers before bedtime!

It's a lose-lose situation. Either way I get agitated.

you can read sitting on a puff, or a sit with a table
If it is not today, then when?
if it is not you, then who?
if you don't make a change, then who will change?
