It depends on how heavy the book is!

Oh sitting up for me. On a comfy couch with a pillow on my lap to prop my book up - without the pillow either my arms get tired holding the book in the air or my neck starts aching from bending too much. Definitely can't lie down to read since my neck will start yelling for the same reason.

I usually read sitting up, or else I will fall asleep. I fall asleep really easily. Hahaha. But my neck always starts hurting pretty fast when sitting up, so I have to take breaks a lot.

That's definitely my biggest problem.
Why hasn't anyone invented a way of reading a book as if you were watching tv?

I usually read in bed because for me that's when I have time. But I can read sitting up,it's just not as comfortable.

I usually read before I go to sleep, so I mostly read laying in bed!

I find when I read for a long time sitting down my body gets numb. So my favourite place to read is in the tub. I know it's weird and not good if you drop your book or even an e-reader but it's where I feel the most relaxed. My only problem is to stop reading before the water cools down. lol!

I usually read on my bed, constantly changing positions. If it's a good book, though, then I will read anywhere.

In the past I always read laying down on my bed, but after a few hours my lower back starts to hurt.

I started reading sitting in my computer chair, but that comes with its own complications. Basically I switch off between the two now, if I get a little stiff or to just change things up.

I read in my bed and usually start by sitting up and then invariably I will lie down.

I binge read, so I reposition a lot. It's hard to stay on one spot when you read for hours on end. I usually start reclining but I peogress to prone unroll I literally can't stay awake anymore.

For me these days I read best by sitting at a table or my desk taking notes. If I sit or lay on the bed I go to sleep. If I read without taking notes I enjoy the story but don't always remember all the details. Then I have to read the story again taking notes.

I try to read sitting up because I too grow tired if I lay down. Sometimes I sit in a chair and put my feet up or I will sit on my bed with my legs crossed and the book will be on the bed in front of me. If you own the book, you can read in the bathtub. That's both relaxing and keeps me alert to read.

I'm pretty much always changing position. I'll start in the living room sitting up, then lay down, then flop onto the floor, then back onto the sofa, then lay on my stomach, then stand and walk around for a bit. The only logic i have to this is that my mind loves to continue to read but by body becomes restless. So i try to abide both needs. This however, has the side-affect of making me look like a very bored cat trying to get comfy.
