What's the last book you bought?
I've been waiting for a friend couple of days ago and of course went into the bookstore which I left with 3 books:
- Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
- Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne
- Lord Jim by Joseph Conrad
What books did you buy?

Usual story I needed a cup of coffee & went into the Costa coffee shop attached to my local bookshop & I had to walk through the shop to get to the coffee shop & I was tempted & surrendered ... it's a beautifully written book thought so no regrets & the coffee was hot & aromatic.

Great, great book. It was the book of the month a fair while ago. If I was you Fran I would move it up the list. It is not a long book but it is full of some wonderful characters and a great adventure.Fran wrote:I got that one for Xmas but didn't get to it yet ... is it worth moving up to a pole position on my TBR pile?Linz83 wrote:Just bought Water for Elephants.
