Oh wow, only 18 and many of them were school related.
Though there's quite a few I've been meaning to read and 3 or 4 I couldn't bring myself to finish :P

My total is 29 and most of those were many years ago. Sadly of the ones I haven't read only 3 or 4 interest me so I'll probably never crack the 50% mark.

I might have to use this as my book list. I have read a few and a few others I have purchased just haven't read yet. I need to get busy.

Just twenty-two. There's some on there that I definitely want to get my hands on at some point, but others that don't appeal - I think some of them could easily be replaced by better, or arguably more significant novels.

24, or 25 depending on whether Douglas Adams's The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is to be considered as just the first novel or the whole series. I'm currently halfway through the third book in the series.
There's a few more that I do remember having read a long time ago, but I don't think I ever finished those.

Hmm I'm only at 20... Even though I've already read over 100 books this year I'm not into most classics, so that hurt my score. I love that "The Shadow of the Wind" is on here! I don't normally read series or mysteries, but it came up in one of my book clubs and Carlos Ruiz Zafon's writing is incredible. I'm happy to see it is appreciated in a wider audience.

That's an interesting idea. Can you recommend a few titles to set me off and running ?
Try the books of Adriana Trigiani. They are beautiful.

Of the first posted list I've read 20 books. Of the second list with 200 books that the other person posted, I've read about 45 books.

The thing is that some of the books that I read in my childhood were children's versions of the book, so it isn't actually the real full classic, so I couldn't really count that, now could I? Books such as oliver twist.

How many have your read? As in a amount of books per year or total of books in my lifetime?

I'll have to say I have read about 3000 books in my lifetime.
