Honestly, I have always enjoyed reading. In fact, I skipped a whole reading Level in the 3rd grade. I used to love to climb up in our big tree in the backyard and just sit and read for hours! How about you?

I loved being read to - it was from the moment of my first book.
Just wish I knew what that first story was.

I had an interest in reading when I was real young, but that didn't really kick off until I read this one book that I kept on rereading. So I would say around the 12-14 age range.

I learned to read when I was about 5, so by the time I was 6, reading was my favorite activity.

I was a freasmen in high school when I realized that I liked reading for fun. I was reading a NASCAR romance novel and fell in love with it. I hardly had any homework or any work to do for that matter so I was always board in school. After I read that book I read more NASCAR novels and eventually moved onto the Twilight Saga. From there reading became an uncontrollable urge. Now I don't have as much free time as I would like but I still enjoy reading whenever I get the chance.

I think I started reading real young. May be when I was 5 or 6 years old.

I put a lot of effort to avoid reading in school. So much so that I became a specialist in copying my friend's English prep notes in high school and not getting caught. It was brilliant.

However, in university, I picked up Game of Thrones. For the last 6 years, I have been unable to stop reading or buying books.

My parents taught me how to read before I ever started going to school. I don't remember a time reading wasn't a hobby, but I do remember when I first realized that it was clearly not everyone's hobby.

I remember when I was really young, I always wanted to read books but could never really understand the words.
The first book I read was called The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and I was 10 years old. The book was so good it made me realise how much I love reading and I ended up convincing my parents to buy me the whole series.

I really enjoyed reading when I was younger, I liked going into a quit space and reading for hours. Then when I got older in my teens I didn't read as much except when I was grounded and didn't have any other distractions. Now I am 22 and have read more than 30 books in the last 2 years. Reading has been a reason to expand my mind and understanding.

I realized that reading was my favorite hobby when I was 10 years old. I had migrated to the United States and before that, the country I lived in didnt really have access to these books. So when I discovered these I was ecstatic and I became so addicted to reading. Now, 5 years later, I still love reading so much but I just don’t have as much time to read between school and everything else going on.
