Definitely! Books are only getting better as the possibility for dystopian sci-fi increases with technological advances.

As far as I see, the teenagers, nowadays, read less. They prefer information from the internet. But, there are still some who loves reading novels, poems, and short stories. Among the genre, they enjoy short stories the most.
A joke is to entertain people. If it fails to do so, it's something else!

Yes, I know several that read the Harry Potter series and the Twilight series- also Nicholas Sparks series.

Social media could have had an impact on the extent to which teenagers read but all in all, I think there are more teenagers who read today because of the increase in population.
