Take our ultimate reading challenge and set up a new goal on your profile. At the end of the year, you can see if your goal was met. Good luck! :)
I'm hoping to get 100 books this year. I haven't really read much since I graduated from college, but I'm willing to try and make this goal.
Good Luck with reaching your goal. I would love to be able to read often enough to set a goal like that but my family may have other ideas.
Thanks, I work a lot of children, so any books I read to kids or have read to me will in my shelves too.

Sometimes, I feel as though I work with a lot of children. And they would probably believe i had lost my mind if i started reading books to them. I wish I could make reading books a full time job though. I do enjoy them. I love a story that when you start to read, you hate to put the book down. So far since joining this group, I have had that kind of luck with the books I selected to do my reviews. I have only finished the one but the one I am reading now has me hooked also. I will probably finish it tonight and work on my review tomorrow or Sunday so I can get to the next book.

I am going to try for at least 10 books this year for a challenge. While that may not seem like a lot (it's really not) I will be starting NP school, I have 3 children, and work 1 full time and 1 part time job. Quite busy, but I still want to take some time for myself! :techie-studyingbrown:

It seems like the books I've been reading keep getting longer and my life has gotten busier. So even though I used to be able to average about 100 books a year, I think I'm gonna lower expectations and aim for 60 books.

I am going for at least 48 but hopefully I will be able to read more. I'm a student as well, so sometimes I do have to prioritize.

Well my lofty 2018 reading goal I had set for myself on Goodreads was....wait for it....a whopping 10 books!!

I decided to be realistic and set an obtainable goal this year. LOL! I always have such high hopes of really getting in a lot of reading and knocking down my "to-read" list, but something always seems to get in the way and mess with my plans.

I did put a reading goal here of 50. So bring on the books!

I had put 20 books as the goal then I later saw the 2018 completion part reflecting 15 when I had only read 3. So I assumed the 2018 goal might mean reading and other posting activities so I changed the goal to 100.

My 2017 goal was 50 books and I met it, so I upped it by 5 this year (not sure why the choice of increments of 5 but it sounded good at the time). I'm at 25 so far this year, so I'm sure I'll make it, if not exceed it.

I want to start reading again. I have been so busy lately so my goal is to start reading again. I need to find my Kindle and start reading again. My goal for 2018 is to read 50 books.
