That's still a great goal! Especially while focusing on writing!

Awesome goal! My goal last year was 100, but I think the highest I've read is 89-- I tend to pick up tomes! So this year I decided to count page numbers as well :) Great job with your 9 books to kick off the year! :techie-reference: Happy reading!

That's in addition to all of the books I'll be reading my kids, which is a minimum of 3 stories at bedtime & 1 in the morning (and I'll be honest, I'm cheating a little by picking kids books to review too). As well as at least 1 book a month off my shelves at home (or more often 2 or 3).
My mom read to us growing up and I still remember and attribute it to my love of the written-word! And, nothing wrong with reviewing children's books! Happy reading!

I have read 4 already this month. I just realized if I keep up with that number each month I will have bypassed my goal of 25. I am changing my goal to 50.

300, I was able to get a bit over 200 so maybe I can reach 300 this year.

I've never counted how many books I read in a year. I set myself a target of 40, but reading other posts on here, I may have undersold myself. See how we go.

My goal for 2018 is 50 books. That was my goal last year and I read 70 books. I'm already at 8 books read so far this year.

I was hoping to accomplish some other goals this year, but I just can't stop reading!

My 'official' goal on Goodreads is 100, but I usually try and beat my friend Cait, whose goal is 200, so that's a more accurate goal for me. I managed 300+ in 2016 and 250+ last year, so it should be doable, especially as I graduate this year. Though right now about half of the books I'm reading are for uni...

A book read is a book read, no matter the reason. Good luck with your challenge within the challenge.

I have changed my goal numbe to 60, as I have already read 5 books, and am halfway through my current one.

I wish I could say that I’d read a book a week, but I think 15-20 is more realistic!

Thanks. The hard part is that I read a lot of articles and chapters, which I don't feel able to count as part of the challenge because they aren't full books, but they use a lot of my reading time. I think I'm doing okay, though. :)

Good luck with your challenge!
