The last book I read was "Happiness is All We Want" by Ashutosh Mishra.
It was a self-help book, which really helped me in my life and so, I gave it 4 out of 4 stars.

Finished American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis. Now I'm scare of succesfull and powerful white men that hates women from a high position. Well, to be frank, I was already prejudiced against them before the book, so this just gave me the reason. LOL. If you are a women reader and you have some misandrist views on the subject I encourage you not to read this since it will only increase your hate for men and that's not good. 3/5

I'm re-reading Harry Potter and recently finished The Order of The Phoenix. I'd give it a 5/5. However, it is extremely different to its predecessor which even as a huge fan, I'd admit is quite poorly written.

Finished The Terror by Dan Simmons. I thought it was pretty good until the end, which was very anticlimatic for me... Anyway, it was a book too long to be dissapointed like that so I gave it 3/5.

Completed Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo a few weeks back.
A fantastic read. I'd give it a 5 out of 5. It was my favourite read of 2021. I'm waiting patiently for its sequel.

Today I read 2 short books while on the long trip on bus on my way to an art expo. I chose Guernica by Juan Antonio Ramírez and Chagall by Francois Mathey since I was going to see a lot of paintings from my favorite Peruvian painter, Rember, and I wanted to get in the mood for surrealism.
The book about Guernica was okay, leading from the previous works of Picasso till the realization of all his concepts on the mural of Guernica. 4/5
The book of Chagall on the other hand was very poorly on descriptions and it's value was on the reproduction of the paintings at the end. 2/5

Finished The Woman in Black by Susan Hill. It was good but not scary for me. I guess there's little to nothing to scare me nowadays, but I still think the narrative of this book was pretty good. 4/5

Shadow game by A.M Adair. I gave it 4 out of 4 stars. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Espionage thriller are very tricky; they can go either way. But for me it ticked all the boxes. The author is an active member US Navy with 19 years of experience under her belt. She did a great job of putting fact and fiction together.

The last book I read was The Forbidden Man, and I happily rated it four out of fours stars. Ardent readers of historical fiction will enjoy poring over it.
