I've read 10 of the books on the list. The most surprising to me on the list is The Princess Diaries. I read it in middle school but wouldn't consider it a favorite.

I have only read 13 of these and interestingly most of these 13 were either childhood favourites or on the compulsory reading list at school. When I think of the thousands of books I have read and loved I am surprised I have read so few on the list!

I've read 10, mostly because I had to in high school, haha. Over half of them are on my "to read" list though and I've got a bunch of them sitting on my bookshelves because I've picked them up from used book sales.

Shocked to realize I have only read 16 and almost all by Harry Potter and The Princess Diaries were school assignments. Not very many on the list that I haven't read interest me though.

I read 8 on purpose, have 3 that I've been meaning to get to, and about 10 I skimmed since I had tests over them in high school. Even with good books, once someone tells me I have to read it, it becomes terrible and I just can't do it. So, sadly, most of the classics will never be on my list as disgruntled English teachers tried to force them down my throat and quiz me about which side of some guy's cheek was the mole on or some other nonsense to prove I'd done the night's reading.

I've read 14 of these! I find this interesting, because I have a list of the "100 Books You Must Read" but it's a good bit different than this one!

Okay from the numbers, I have read: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 43, 44, 46, 47, 48, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 58, 59, 60, 62, 63, 65, 67, 68**, 69, 70, 72, 73, 74, 75, 77, 78, 79, 81, 83, 85, 87, 89, 90, 91, 93, 94, 95, 97, 99, 100.

13+21+20+20+1 = 55; I have read more than half of the Top 100.

I have read more than just these and I would not put them in this order but so be it.

I have read 15 of these books and I own another 20. I often like looking at booklists, I even have multiple 100 greatest novels or 100 books you have to read in your lifetime. I'm glad that this list wasn't all classics. I also want to get into reading the books Oprah had for her book club. I'm gonna look into new York best sellers.
