If they will ask you who said so, tell them it's me. ^_^

It is hard to grasp sometimes because we lack the experience of living in a time when there was no television, movies, radios, recorded music, or even photographs, but if one takes the time to consider what life back then was like it would be easy to see why more people took to reading for entertainment and escape. Today, with so many other forms of distraction, most people are reluctant to spend time reading when they can be entertained in other ways which are less time-consuming and require less effort such as movies. It may take several days to read a book, but you can watch a movie in an hour and a half and, for the most part, experience the same story in cinematic form.
