I enjoy both writing and reading. but for me it would depend on the times, i prefer writing when my mind is fully open and when i have a lot to sure. Reading for me can be done almost always irrespective of how i feel

The two live in different realms for me. Reading is living someone else's story. Writing is giving life to your own. But you are right in that the two go hand in hand. Reading makes you a better writer and writing gives you a new appreciation for someone else's writing.

I read every day in the morning. Just articles and things. I love reading.

To pick between writing and reading is like picking which child I love more. They have their good points and such. I do like writing a little more, though.

I always find myself struggling between the two! The more I read, the more I want to write, and the more I write, the more I want to read! It's the eternal struggle that all writers can relate to.

I prefer reading. I love being able to escape to another world to get away from stress or just learn something new through reading.

I used to write way more than I read, but I have been in a huge funk. I could write for hours at a time back in the day. Still think I liked writing over reading.

I prefer to read. I do not feel I could get all of my words or emotions on a piece of paper. I would much rather be engrossed in a book that I can live in their world and feel their emotions.

I can't really say the one I prefer but I do both anyway.

I prefer writing, I feel free and can explore worlds of my own making and enjoy learning what the characters are up to.

I much prefer reading. Writing is therapeutic for me, yes and I write when I feel upset or stressed. But in order to chill, reading definitely.

I enjoy both of them for different reasons. I like writing because it helps me to process my thoughts and emotions and is a great creative outlet. Whereas, reading helps me to learn, escape to another world for a little while, and relax. So, I can't really pick between them because they each provide me something unique.
