There are many books that I love and would read over, the most thrilling book I read was Bag of Bones by Steven King. That book, for some reason, actually made me cringe and gave me chills.

The Good Girl by Mary Kubica was a thriller that I really enjoyed and highly recommend!

Michael Crichtons Jurassic Park pops into mind. I read it before seeing the movie and it was nerve-wrecking.

The most thrilling book I have ever read was Intensity by Dean Koontz. I first started reading it before going camping with my three sons, boyfriend and my cousin's son. We ran into bad weather with a tent and lot's of water, need I say more? But what made the trip was this book. Around our campfires at night I would fill the boys in on what I read during the day and read by lantern while they stared at the flames. They would jump right along with me at the scary parts and wonder about the heroines escape plans too. It was a week we will never forget. My sons are now all grown up, including the cousin, and when I mention that book they still get sentimental about the week we shared and say how great that book really is. Thrilling does not begin to describe it.

I recently listened to The Martian as an audiobook and when I got to the final chapters, I found myself pacing up and down the living room to cope with the suspense.

There are so many but Anne Rice’s The Witching Hour stands out for me.

Piercing by Ryu Murakami definitely gave me a thrill. But it was more of a psychological thrill rather than an action-packed thrill. Still, I enjoyed it. The ending was a bit of a let down, though. It could have been tied up better or had a clear resolution. It just felt unfinished.

I don't know if this quite fits the category, but my number one pick is Bird Box by Josh Malerman. It's more of a horror than a thriller, but it definitely gave me a thrill. I've never wanted to sit in a corner so bad, just to make sure nothing could get behind me.

I guess the most thrilling book I've read would be 'Under the Dome' by Stephen King.
Even though that book is almost 800 pages, it was so enthralling that I finished it in two days - which is very quick considering my reading pace!

Phantoms by Dean Koontz was by far the most thrilling book I've ever read. I was driving home (13+ hours) and the audiobook kept me thoroughly entertained and on the edge of my seat the entire time.

The Hobbit by Tolkien. It is a thrilling action-filled book, and there are many occasions that make you feel worried for the characters and wonder if they could really beat the odds.
