No I will only sell it or just give it away if I detest it. Otherwise I would never sell a book!

I've sold textbooks, but I don't think I've ever sold one of my "real" books, if you know what I mean. I've donated some to charity, though.

all text books must go! but sometimes i regret that. I think i have sold a book or two to the local bookstores because I am not someone who re-reads items. Do books still sell fairly well?

Yes, I have, sadly, sold books for money. I am doing it right now, in fact! But, there is very good reason for this. My fiancé and I don't have a lot of money, and with college being next year, and our wedding, and having to pay for rent, and everything else, I am giving up a few of my children's books, (that I NEVER liked) to help pay for our expenses. But, usually, I will give them to this really great book center that gives me credit that I use to buy MORE books! And, once we are married, and have a little less expenses to cover, I won't be selling my books anymore(:

Yes, Ive sold books at yard sales and used books stores where I receive trade credit.

I love a good deal and since I dont want to keep every book Ive ever read for fear of being a hoarder, I let them go.

I have never done this. I have thought about it a few times since I have a copy of the Lincoln Library and a few of my great grandfather's medical books but I just cannot bear to part with them yet.

When I moved, I had boxes of books and donated them to a thrift store. I also donated my Stephen King collection to my local library years ago. It was kind of cool to go into the library and see them all "libraried" up. :)

Very rarely. I did back in college to mainly get rid of some of the text books I knew I wouldn't ever look at again. I've found the money you get back or store credit just isn't worth it.

I wish I had done it with my old college textbooks, but I never did. I kept them all and now they are just taking up room in my storage space. 8)

I have sold novels and children's books at garage sales if I know I will never read them again. Of course, I didn't make a profit. My favorite books are safely tucked away in my bookshelves, though!
