The Time Traveler's Wife is a beautiful and unique story in my eyes, so I would definitely recommend that one. The Boy in The Striped Pajamas broke my heart the first time I read it in school, along with my entire class. Lastly, The Perks of Being A Wallflower is one that was pivotal in my early teen years. I related to the characters, especially Charlie, loved the ease of the book and how real it felt, and it was also the perfect book to read as a teen going through a million emotions at once. It's absolutely one i'll remember and reread for the rest of my life. It holds a special little place in my heart.

I would recommend The Book Thief, Red Badge of Courage, and Ender's Game. Each are amazing. Red Badge of Courage is a class, but it's only about a hundred pages and is interesting.

I would recommend Neil Gaiman, How The Marquis Got His Coat Back, can't get a shorter book than that, nor smarter. If I would be a writer, that's what I would love to have written. Or even Anansi Boys of the same author.

I've read just about all the books on your list and they are all amazing. You have good taste in literature. I recommend Before I Fall and the Delirium Series by Lauren Oliver. Also,If I Stay. And if you are looking for something more classic Jane Eyre has always been a favorite of mine.

Anansi Boys is a great book! Though all that I have read of Neil Gaiman are. Stardust was my first of his books so my most beloved and The Graveyard Book is also wonderful.

See how time has flown. This is nine years on. The first recommended book then was 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens: The Ultimate Teenage Guide to Success, Stephen Covey. Well I guess we should now read The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change still by Stephen Covey.
