After the sudden and surprising death of a major character, I chucked the book across the room and sobbed. My husband chose that moment to walk in the front door from work, saw the book fly and my tears and immediately thought something serious had happened. He could not stop laughing when I explained my heartache.

The Host had me crying too, it's really moving! So did the film, didn't expect it to though!Londera wrote:The only books I recall making me cry were Delirium by Lauren Oliver,The Host by Stephanie Myer and Wither by Lauren Stefano.
Pretty sure I got a bit teary reading Delirium too.
Cried at The Fault in our stars even though I didn't want to. Cried like a baby at the ending of Clockwork Princess (Cassandra Clare). I was hysterical by the end of The Raven King (Maggie Stiefvater).
