I have cried over so many books that I have lost count, and unfortunately, I have even forgotten some of their names, but one of the books that really resonated with me and broke my heart was Kaleidoscope by Danielle Steel. It was such a beautifully written book that I would rate it 4 out of 4, I loved the main character Hilary I understood her, I empathised and sympathised with her pain; though I did not always agree with her decisions, I understood why she made them. I think that Kaleidoscope is a work of art and should be added to the list of classics.

If I stay by Gayle Forman and Me before you by Jojo Moyes (funny thing, I read the books before the movies and the movies never made me want to cry).
Before I die by Jenny Downham too.

I've cried on some books. But there is a particular book that really made me go haywire with my emotions. That would be Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom. This book is really remarkable and based on a true story. I've also seen the movie and it's also great.
Because if you've found meaning in your life, you don't want to go back. You want to go forward.

I have never cried after reading a book. I don't think there is any book that will make me cry .
I don't get emotionally connected to the characters in the book to the extent of shedding tears.

The last book that made me cry while reading it was The Lady of the Lake by Andrzej Sapkowski. I don't want to give spoilers, but this is a bitter-sweet ending to the Witcher saga.

I read this book once called "Breathless" and it completely destroyed me. By the end of the book I was weeping heavily, but really tears were always streaming down my face as I read this book; they just increased in quantity the closer I got towards the end. It's not a book I recommend because even now the story sticks to me seven years after I read it...and not in a good way a book sticks with you.

So many have. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows made me cry for all sorts of reasons. I know anytime I pick up a book by Mitch Albom I'm going to be crying profusely throughout the book. But I'm also the kind of person who can tear up over sentimental commercials so...

Harry Potter series. Each and single one of them had at least one episode which made me cry. Aside from that, My Beloved Bones was a very touching story as well.
