The girl with the pearl earring by Tracy Chevalier and the fault in our stars by John Green
A ship is safe in the harbor but that's not what ships are for. So be the person outside the box, get out of your comfort zone, that's the person you want to be.

The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger was one, and the first few books in the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon.

Is there any suggestion for meaningful books that can get you emotional

The Child Called It, was a book that had me crying like a baby. I just wanted to take the boy home with me and just love him. It was so sad.

I think the number is quite high...
The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks, The Diary of Anne Frank, Allegiant by Veronica Roth, Sarah J Maas's books, The Sicilian by Sveva Casati Modignani, and so many others I don't even remember them.

Me Before You definitely made me cry, there were times I couldn't even see the book because the tears were flowing to hard.

There have been several, but I have a distinct memory from when I was reading John Jakes' "North and South" trilogy. This is an epic historical saga, so by Book Two, I was beyond invested in the story and the characters. I don't want to give away details (because I highly recommend this series to lovers of Civil War history), but at the end of book two, "Love and War," I was so devastated by a plot twist that I actually threw the book across the room and dissolved into tears. My husband walked in from work just as the book went flying and he thought something serious had happened in real life. When he learned I was that upset over a book, he could not stop laughing. He is not a reader, he does not understand, lol.

Almost all of Karen Kingsbury's books make me cry. Also, Message in a Bottle and The Notebook, both by Nicholas Sparks, and plenty of other books that I can't think of right now.

I am quite surprised that I cried at that but in the 6th book of the i am number 4 series, a new character emerged and she was so adorable that there was a scene where she was going through some misery and crying and I cried with her.

Probably the fault in our stars. Any book with a cancer story often makes me cry, you can try it.

I have not cried after reading a book, but some made me sad. Vergil's Aeneid is one of them.

Most Nicholas Sparks books are very touchy!
I've felt emotionally swept away even in their movies.
