When I was little, the book that made me cry was Erin Hunter's Bluestar's Prophecy. That was the only time I've cried while reading a book as far as I can remember.

The Fault in Our Stars
This book made me cry a lot
I saw my self in the book as one of them. I could feel their pain, loss and love.

One Summer by David Baldacci. In chapter one. I started this book while traveling - my row mates on the plane were concerned. LOL.

There are quite a few books that opened the gates to my eye-dam, two of them are A thousand splendid suns by Khaled Hosseini and When Daddy comes home by Toni Maguire.

The two books I've read that I cried like a baby were, " Go Ask Alice" and "A Child called It" .. They were such sad and heart breaking stories that I just couldn't hold tears back!!

Very few books have made me cry. The most recent was The Reel Sisters. Of Mice and Men and Their Eyes Were Watching God always get me and yet I keep re-reading them.

The Fault in Our Stars, this book got me bad. When Augustus died, it made me so sad, I felt like my dear friend had died. So I was lying at night, beside my cousin, he slept while I bawled my eyes out.
But that's the thing about books, you get so into them, you feel connected to the characters, hate them, love them, envy them, wish them bolder...and I think it's beautiful.

I vividly remember crying when I read these two romantic piece "Pride and Prejudice" and "Trip to Adele". I felt emotional about what was diced to the characters in each was below what they deserved. I just found myself crying,o Lord for a character ! that's after I'm calm.

If the story really captures me, I become very emotional as well. My first whimper was caused by "A Walk To Remember" by Nicholas Sparks and my last was "Me Before You" by Jo Jo Moyes.

Twelve Years a Slave made me cry. The horrors that people were subjected to based on such hate and ignorance blows my mind.
