I definitely cried at the ending of Kingdom of Ash. Surprisingly, it wasn’t just because of some characters’ deaths, but it was also because I had been reading these books for years and it felt like I was leaving family when the series ended

The recent book that made me cry is "Last Dance" by Stephen Manning. Even though I was aware of a character's death beforehand, it was so hard and emotional to hold back my tears.

The first book that made me cry was Walk Two Moons. It is also the book that got me hooked on reading as a hobby. And I remember retelling the story to my little sister who was like four or five at the time and it made her cry, too. I felt soo bad for her, but it just shows how powerful books can be I guess.

I usually don't prefer reading fiction so, I haven't really cried reading one.

I can relate to that. I didn't want it to end. I love the series so much.

There's simply too many to list. The book that made me cry hardest was probably Fault in Our Stars.

The two books that come to mind are part of the same series; The Dark-Hunters by Sherrilyn Kenyon.
Acheron (Book 17) and Styxx (Book 25)

I can't tell you why I cried as that would involve spoilers but trust me, if you plan on reading them, make sure you have a box of tissues on standby.
