I'm just about finished with reading Mistress Suffragette. It was a great read, and my only disappointment comes from realizing so many of the issues presented during the women's suffrage movement are still issues today.

I haven't been able to read as much since work is keeping me busy but I'm currently reading The Sun and Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur. It's a poetry book so it's a light read, and I go by reading just a few pages a time. I usually try to reflect on the poem and analyze it - personally I find it therapeutic.

I am currently reading The Getting of Wisdom by Henry Handel Richardson (real name Ethel Florence Lindesay Richardson) - another female author who wrote under a male pen name.

'If Life Stinks Get Your Head Outta Your Buts', next month's book of the month. I'm only on Ch. 3, but it's good so far.

Well, I am reading something called Basketful of Lemons by aurhor Onyx King who wanted me to check out her work. I got three of her books and had just finished The Girl that Glows which is a story of a woman who had incurred first child abuse by her mother, then physical abuse by a spouse and later ended up in prison because her drug dealer boyfriend had put all his assets in her name.

So none of these are through OnlineBookClub but I couldn't pass on these tear jerking 3 true stories she was writing. Onyx is now an advocate for children.

I'll be picking up another book to review for OBC soon.

Reading the Resilience Economy. The grammatical structures are a bit difficult to get through sometimes, but the concept is very interesting.
