Just finished reading The Lost Identity Casualities by Kim Ekemar and started reading Raven’s Peak by Lincoln Cole. I am super excited as there are hints of horror and suspense which are my all time favorite genres.

This sounds interesting. The title is very catchy. I wonder what the book is all about. I would like to read it.

Great Gatsby seen on HBO years ago. Watched it again and just did not feel as long or like the first time... Love reading as well as watching...
Got me wanting to read it...
Or even Pertty Baby 1978 with Brooke Sheilds...miss the old HBO AND TV CHANNELS...

Superhighway by Alex Fayman. The book is good. I am currently in chapter three and I'm enjoying it.

I've been reading Seanan McGuire's The Girl in the Green Silk Gown, and I am loving it (and gritting my teeth with every chapter).

I also started Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon.
I saw the movie and decided to read the book.

Latest Review: The Watchmaker’s Doctor by G. M. T. Schuilling

Post by Khrysalis »

Well, the novella I'm reading at the present moment in time is The Watchmaker's Doctor by G.M.T. Schuilling. I'm usually reading two books at the same time, but for different purposes. One book is always something new, my latest read. The other book will be a beloved old favorite, something I will read for comfort or just the pleasure of its familiarity. Like time spent with old friends. For example, my copy of The Dark Crystal by A.C.H. Smith—printed the year I was born—has always had its place at my bedside table, and has been loved to crumbling tatters. It's still one of my favorites to curl up with on a cold night with a warm mug of tea or as a source of comfort when I'm feeling lonely or sad or need an escape from the real world for a while.

One of the greatest pleasures in life is discovering a brand new, great read. But an even greater pleasure is rereading those old favorites. It's in how they make you feel.
