I have started on what is (so far) a wonderful Australian novel called The Glass Canoe by David Ireland, which won the 1976 Miles Franklin Award.
So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.

The Great Gatsby, F Scott Fitzgerald

I'm currently reading "The Alienist" by Caleb Carr before I watch the TV show. I absolutely cannot watch a TV show/movie without reading the book first. Is anyone else like that?

I am currently reading The Monogram Murders by Sophie Hannah and its French translation (it's part of the new Agatha Christie novels). I am reading it for my Master's thesis and didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I do now. It is quite logical and linguistic, two of my favorite things in life.
