Have you ever read the Bible cover to cover?

Yes. I went to a Catholic high school. In those four years, we students read the Bible from cover to cover. I didn't fully appreciate it at the time, but now I realize just how important the Bible is. I'm not talking about the importance of the Bible from a religious standpoint, rather, from a cultural literacy perspective.

Yes, if a simple-language version for children counts. I was encouraged to by my Catholic elementary school, and whilst I am now an atheist, I appreciate having some familiarity with the text for cultural reasons

However, I do not expect to read an adult version in the near future.

I've read the whole Bible before. Now I'm just figuring out how to understand some parts of it.

No, I haven't actually got to read the Bible cover to cover even though I would like to. I have read a good amount of the bible but that is in more or less jumping around from book to book within the Bible.

I accomplished that feat for the New Testament as it was a requirement for Christian Religious Education in my High School. The teachers literally wanted you to be able to quote the New Testament word for word.

Yes, I have read it a number of times, but the first time I tackled it I got bogged down in genealogies and quit before taking it up again many years later.

At that time I started with Job and read that through. I had been going through some hard times,
and it helped me to find faith.

I've read the whole Bible cover to cover twice in my life. When I was about 15, i read it using the "Read the Bible in a Year" in the back of my Bible. Then I went to a Baptist college which required Old Testament Survey and New Testament Survey. With those classes I read the whlle thing and was tested on it.
