When you read to kids, do you discuss the values?

I plan to do this to my children. They are in the crucial period which needs a lot of value-oriented reading.
A joke is to entertain people. If it fails to do so, it's something else!

Yes. When my daughter was younger and I read to her, that was an excellent time to discuss values and expectations with her. It was interesting to see which characters appealed to her, at her young age, and why.

Yes, I discuss values with kids because to a large extent, these TV programs also shapes the kind of person a kid turn out to be.
