I would bring 1: Fablehaven: Keys to the Demon Prison 2: Brisingr, by Christopher Paolini 3: The Hobbit 4: Peter and the shadow thieves and 5: The Hunger Games. I wish we didn't have to just pick 5. I'd rather bring 500! :)

Kushiel's Dart
Wizard's First Rule
The Name of the Wind
The Bhagavad Gita
and I'd have to say the Bible, not because I'm religious but it would last the longest, or maybe the Koran in that case?

I'd go for couple of survival books too. A book about the natural cures to tropical and other illnesses, how to build a house/boat/raft/huge signal fire manual, animal habits and hunting advice with illustrated plans for making traps and additional information about preparing them for eating, complete dome of edible and non-edible plants with illustrations, map and water charts book that has a built in working compass on the cover.

My five books would be:
Hatchet by Gary Paulsen
Brian's Winter by Gary Paulsen
Warriors: Into the Wild by Erin Hunter
A Whole New World by LIz Braswell

And finally, I'd have a whole book of my own written stories.

I would bring the following :
1. Any Harry Potter Book
2. Survival Book of any credible author
3. Survival Shelter Book
4. Book on animals if poisonous or edible
5. Book on weather and high tide

I am just being realistic, you would hate yourself if you brought fictional books instead of books that would help you to survive. Just saying...
