Both are fine, but I personally feel paper back is only more comfortable to fold the book and read. Hard cover books also give good grip.

Hardback books look good on the shelves.

I love paperbacks since they are easier to handle though hardbacks are pretty also and they have a good feeling when storing them.

I prefer Paperbacks the most as they are more convenient. And probably because they are light weighted.

Paperback for their cheapness and easy travelling but hard cover for their aesthetic.

I enjoy reading from Paperbacks more, enjoy owning a hardcover more. Hardcover looks a lot nicer and is a much bigger investment. Paperbacks wear better and are easier to hold most of the time.

I would choose paperback because hardcover will be heavy. Hardcover could be difficult to carry around.

Paperback if I will bring it with me anywhere, and hardcover if for collection purposes only.

I like hardbacks, they look good on bookshelves but paperbacks are cheaper and they're easier to handle.

I tend to go for paperback, but if it's a series that I want to have a good copy of, I will also spring for the entire collection in hardback - if it's available.

Paperbacks, if I'm buying because I have to. Hardbacks if I'm borrowing from the library. I love the feel of hardbacks, especially if they've been used before.

Preferably hardbacks; it's a nice feeling to open up the spine of a new hardback. But yeah, paperbacks are cheaper
