Personally, I prefer hardcover books. I hate it when paperback books lose their shape and get creases in the spine that prevent the book from closing all the way.

Paperback if I have to have print- I prefer e-book. However, for books I want to keep and read again, I like to buy hardcover.

I prefer and always opt for paperback. Reason being, where I go, my book goes too. So, it's easy to slide in handbag and lighter to carry around.
Thank you?

I'm fine with either, though I do most of my reading on my kindle. That was an adjustment I wasn't convinced I could make - I loved the 'feel' of a book in my hands - but once I got going I hadn't felt I was missing anything by reading on a kindle vs physical book.

This is a tough one! I really love hardback. Problems with this are: not enough room to display them (you can cram more paperback onto a shelf :)), and I take a book everywhere I go. Some hardcover are too big and cumbersome! A paperback is easy enough to squeeze in my purse.. But I agree for series they all have to match :D

I prefer hardcover books. To me, they are much easier to handle and carry around. I also don't have to worry about the cover being bent.

I prefer paperbacks for sure! Hardbacks are too heavy, too bulky, too expensive, and I hate having to deal with bookjackets!

I love collecting books but don't have much space so I usually get paperbacks. I also bring whatever I'm reading everywhere. And yes, I'm cheap too!

Paperback, always! Cheaper and I feel less paranoid about damaging the cover for some reason

I like paperback I think there easier to handle but don't mind hardback. But when buying a series I have to make sure there all either paperback or hardback can't be mixed lol

I think papaerback is easier to carry around and read. However, I collect books and love having the hard back copies. I have found loads of really nice hardback versions and can't help buying them even if I already own the book! They brought out the 'classics' recently with really nice hardback covers...I better get saving!

I really like a nice hardcover book, but most of my books are paperbacks or ebooks because of convenience and cost

I prefer hardcover books. However, sometimes when I order a book from Amazon or B&N, the book might only be available in paperback, in which case I have to give in and buy it anyway.

Definitely Hardcover. Even if the book I want doesn't have a hardcover edition, I'll dig up to find one. IK'm stubborn that way. :lol2:
