When I'm actually reading a book, I prefer paperback. For looks up on my bookshelf, I love a good hardcover! Tough decision, but overall I prefer paperbacks. I actually kind of like being able to see the "battle scars" of a loved paperback.

Paperback, I like the flexibility of it and how it's easy to hold in one hand (depending on the size of the book of course).

I love both but I prefer hardcover. My book collection so far is mixed between the two.

Paperback when I read books in print, since that's what I usually find secondhand or at the library. It's much easier to pack when on the go to or when organizing them on my small personal bookshelves.

I can do both, but I prefer paperback. It makes you realize which books are your favorite based on wear and tear and really show the true colors of how much it means to you.

I prefer paperback. They are smaller and lighter. Sometimes I cant find paperback though, and will get hardback.

Books that I want to preserve ate bought as hardbacks. All else is paperback, so there is no pressure to be careful while reading. Plus, paperbacks are more affordable. Nowadays though, the real question may be: physical book or e-book.

I prefer hardcover more than that of paperback. Hardcovers last more than paperback.

I prefer hardback, even though they are harder to handle, but I like the sturdiness of them. However, lately it's been almost impossible to find hardbacks so all of my house of night series is paperback. The only hardback I've purchases is a photography book of haunted houses.

Hardcover readings is for daytime only. Preferably car reading. Because if I read one at night, and I start to nod off, I have this awful habit of dropping the hc on my face!
