I would say hardback. It's less likely to get ripped. Some hardback covers can be beautifully done. I like to look for the rarer covers if I go for a hardback book. My parents got me 'A Tale of Two Cities' in hardback and it had a very artistic cover. I have treasured it ever since.

I love paperbacks more than hardcover. Obviously, the reason is already known. Hardcover is much more difficult to carry about, unlike paperback where there is so much ease to carry even while reading the book.

I love to read paperbacks more than hardcover. Paperback is less expensive compared to hardcover. More so, the paperback is easier to handle and carry around while reading than the hardcover.

I love paperback. I dont feel bad if I bend it and mold into my hands. I also just love to toss it in my purse and go.

But, if i want to keep a book forever, hardback.

Hard cover for the collectors. I however, would prefer paperback, I am always on the go and paperback is in some ways just more compact and easier to manoeuvre into a bag then hard cover.

I prefer paperback whilst travelling, as it is easy to move around with and handle and not much of a weight. But on the shelf at home or library, I would prefer hardcover, as it becomes purposeful and meaningful.

I prefer hardcover, but the economy usually only allows me paperback. Luckily the content of the book is the same regardless of its appearance.

I prefer paper back while reading. They are just easier to hold and maneuver for me. I do alot of reading while riding in a car. I do like how hard covers come in bigger sizes with larger font sizes and that they don't get destroyed as easily as paperbacks. There's pros and cons to both. I'm just there for the story so I'm not picky.

While this would have been a difficult question to answer just a short time ago (nothing like feeling the solid cover of a hardcover but enjoy the flexibility of a paperback) my answer at the moment is definitely Kindle😊

I prefer hardcover because I feel like the book is better protected. With paperback I have had more issues with my books getting damaged while moving and such.

You know, I have to second Kindle right now! I love holding an actual book and going to the library or book store, but I'm traveling quite a bit for work right now and I like the flexibility of being able to download and carry multiple books at a time!
