if I ruled out my childhood (where the winners would be Enid Blyton and Narnia) and took the average of my adult life, it would probably be Pride and Prejudice, but if I took only the last 5 years or so, that it would be Margaret Atwood's The Year of the Flood.

:mrgreen2: A particular favorite of mine is,"A Fan's Notes. "Frederick Exley is the author of this much acclaimed, "cult" book. It has been compared to "The Great Gatsby," and also won the William Faulkner award for fiction the year it was first published.

I love rereading The Book of a Thousand Days by Shannon Hale. Usually I'd have to borrow it from the library but my partner bought a hard-copy for me this Christmas as a present and now I can skip to a favorite scene whenever I want.

The book I reread the most is the Bible. It has everything. God's love, God's plan for mankind, and how He has through the ages kept His plan in motion. Christ's Love and pattern for our life, and how we should lovingly treat others. No matter how often I read the Bible there is always something new to discover and if the occasion allows share.

The books I've reread the most would be The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. There are 14 books in the series so it takes a bit to get through all of them. The author unfortunately died before finishing the last one. But Brandon Sanderson did a great job of finishing the series.

The Hobbit. I've read it more times than I think I'll admit, even to you fine people. It is just such a pure, fun, engaging adventure. It's something I can appreciate as an adult for its themes of persistence and self-actualizing but is also something I know I can share with my children for its wonderful story.

I read and re-read Anne mcaffrey(any of her books), Friday by Robert Heinlein, the true blood series, any of dick Francis' mysteries. My parents tried to force me to read the classics while growing up, so I'm just now getting around to them.

Two books I'd like to mention here are Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf and Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. I love Little Women more.

I don't go back and reread books. It may sound odd, but I have never gotten into the habit.
My sister has read Pearl Buck so many times, she has to purchase a new copy.

I read the entire Harry Potter series at least every second year. It's such a comforting read, and the older I get, the more my perspective on it changes. Also every time the publish a illustrated edition I HAVE to buy it, and then it starts the cycle of rereading all over again.

Little Women is my all-time favorite. The moment I finish it, I just want to open it, and start over again :greetings-clappingorange:
