The Oath was my goto for rereading in high school too! I’d hop between that one and This Present Darkness, for my horror fix.

"Upstream" by Mary Oliver, it is always a comforting and inspiring read, sometimes I just reread my favorite essays from it, other times I reread the whole book.

As a kid, I literally dug into the Enid Blyton series'. I completed the entire series in a weeks time. I remember reading and re-reading 'The Famous Five' series as a child. As a college student, I loved Shakespeare's dramas. I reread all the comedies and tragedies.

It would have to be The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Nothing beats this one for a slice of whimsical escapism. Each time I read it, I find something new and wondrous in the tale, and who can resist the charming illustrations that have now become so familiar? It is little wonder I have two copies - a collectors edition (carefully wrapped in plastic) and my well-worn reading copy, adorning my bookshelf!

My Bible! The paperback print that I've had since I was 11 years old. The corners are torn, the pages highlighted, and the spine is barely hanging on. It has served me well.

I'm a big fan of YA paranormal, so I tend to re-read PT Michelle's Brightest Kind of Darkness books.

I love Light in August by William Faulkner. I have read it all the way through twice and I like to reread parts of it for inspiration or just pure enjoyment.

Has to be The Bible. Week in week out

It is very hard for me to narrow this down to one. Most people don't think of the Holy Bible as a book because it is religious but, I do read it. By using different study modules I am able to read through it about two times a year. Every time I learn something new. Also my favorite fictional book would be The Black Book by James Patterson. I read it the first time in one day. I just couldn't put it down. I pass on all my books to my daughters, but that one, until I get the digital copy, it stays with mommy!

There are two books in my life I reread every now and then. One is my childhood favorite what I read first when I was 10 years old, Elizabeth by Erzsebet Kertesz. This is a book about Elizabeth Barrett Browning an English poet from the Victorian era. This was the first book what made me cry and it was magical from cover to cover.
The second book is Jane Austin Pride and Prejudice, what I read first when I was a young adult. I love Jane Austin and I read most of her book but this was the first I read from her so it has a special place in my heart.

I usually reread Beauty by Robin Mckinley. I love the Beauty and the Beast tale so this is definitely a dog eared and worn out book.
